    DLM Early Childhood Express is a thematic program that includes activities for pre-reading, pre-math, beginning handwriting, creative writing, letter recognition and letter-sound association (phonics), music activities, cooking activities, large and small motor skills, social studies, and science activities.

    Each monthly thematic unit includes big books, little books, lap books, stick-on story books (the children create and write their own stories), other literature selections, a music tape, 10 learning activity posters, association and/or sequencing workjob cards, and center workjob cards in rebus form that the children may look at and perform tasks independently. Also included is Phonics for Early Learners and Under Construction: Beginning Math activities and math manipulative.
