    Open Court Reading is a system that develops phonemic awareness. Teaching these sound-symbol relationships enable children to decode most of the words in the English language instead of learning each word individually.

    Explode the Code is a program that focuses on reinforcing pre-reading skills through phonic, letter sound association, tracking, sorting and classifying activities. It is a series of worksheets completed in small groups during your child’s learning center time.

    Everyday Math includes recognition of similarities and differences, classification, pattern recognition, one-to-one relationships, comparison of sets, addition, subtration, money, and time. This program introduce the subject material in a hands on, and each subject studied is renforced throughout the school year.
